Evan is Standing

Over the past few days Evan has started to pull himself up using different furniture around the house. He can't move around once he's up but we figure it's just a matter of days now.

Father's Day

This year was my first Father's day celebration and Evan and Jill made it a special one. There were presents, a picnic and a trip to the swing set in the Magnolia park.

Laughing Baby

Sometimes Evan just gets in a mood and everything you do is hilarious to him. I was lucky enough to catch one such episode on video.

My first trip to Cape May

The three Demseys took a brief trip to the shore last week to see the wedding of a friend. While we were there Evan found a way to get a little relaxation time in. Though he seemed to love crawling around on the beach and eating sand, he wasn't so sure how he felt about the water. We've got a lot of pictures -- take a look at all of them by clicking here. My First Wawa

I just thought everyone should know that Evan went to his first Wawa when were in New Jersey this past weekend. It's a momentous event for all of us who love their hoagies and pretzels.

Crawling

Without any further ado, here is the long-promised video of Evan doing a bit of crawling. This was just the beginning. He's actually gotten quite a bit faster recently. We'll be sure to post more recent video soon.

Playing in the toy box?

When Evan sits down to play he usually dumps out his toy box and rolls around all over his toys. When his toys are out of the box there's room for him to get in.

Watch out! We've got a crawler...

Over the past few days Evan seems to have put it together and has begun to crawl. This has greatly accelerated our baby proofing efforts. Stay tuned and we'll be posting video shortly.

A Visit to Cleveland

Last weekend while Jill was at Jennifer's graduation from medical school, Evan and I took a trip to Cleveland. We had a great time catching up with family and friends. Evan finally got a chance to meet a lot of people who had only seen him on his website. One person extra happy to finally meet Evan was his great grandmother -- Nana. I think they really enjoyed spending time with each other. Nana fed Evan a few times and played with him a bunch as well.
