Grandma and Grandpa Nansteel came to visit

Last weekend Grandma and Grandpa Nansteel came out to Seattle for a visit. The day after they arrived we all went up to Friday Harbor on the ferry. Here are Evan and Grandpa playing around outside the ferry terminal while we waited for our boat.

And here's Evan on the ferry. He's smiling because I asked him to but also because there was a 6 piece bluegrass band behind him practicing the entire boat ride. He was dancing the entire ride over.

That is when he wasn't helping pilot the ferry to Friday Harbor.

We had a great time driving around the island and seeing the sites. Here's Evan on a rock covered beach. He spent a ton of time throwing rocks into the sound and "really really" did not want to leave.

Back on the mainland we all hung out and relaxed. We headed to the Pike Place Market one day and got some muscles. Here's Evan eating - he ate an entire bowl himself and ate a bunch of Grandpa's as well.

All in all it was a great visit. We look forward to many more in the future.

Looks like a great visit from Grandma and Grandpa, and Jill, I'm so excited to see you made it to Friday Harbor! Can't wait to hear what you all thought of it.
