The Kutztown Fair

Somehow, last year during our visit we wound up attending the Kutztown fair and had a blast, so we returned this year with Grandma in tow.  Way cooler than last year, but let me tell you, central PA in the summer is just HOT.

It's a very old fashioned affair with lots of antiques, traditional local crafts people and authentic Pennsylvania Dutch food (of which a lot was consumed at the all-you-can-eat restaurant).   There were crafts for Evan and old tractors too.

There was even what was claimed to be the last remaining horse drawn carousel.

There was a fantastic petting zoo as well.  Evan is so comfortable with the animals.  He loved seeing one of his "people" there.

Alexis even got in on the action feeding animals.

Then there was horseback rides for both of them.

Kutztown you did it again. I'm betting we'll be back again next summer.
