Shore Part Two

Boy was it hot during our second trip to Cape May this summer! But even the heat couldn't stop Evan from having a good time. I think the heat may be one of the things that helped Evan warm up to going in the ocean. During our first trip Evan was very tentative and didn't go into the ocean much at all. By the end of this week though he was much more comfortable and was going in and out of the water all day long.

He loved throwing rocks into the water and spent entire afternoons throwing balls into the waves at the baby beach, chasing after them when they came back onto shore.

When he wasn't running into the water he was running (and yes, he was basically running the entire week) along the beach in search of "holes". This was perhaps his biggest (and deepest) find.

We had a blast and can't wait to return next summer.
