Mini, B and apple picking

My parents showed up right in between Alexis and Evan's birthdays to pay us a visit.  It's always great having the grandparents in town. Presents were opened and the kids did a lot of smiling. We decided that we had enough cake for Evan (with more for Alexis on the way) so we went cupcake for the celebration. The weather was nice so we were able to eat out back - something we never could have done in September in Seattle. We also went apple picking at Stribling orchard, something we love to do to supply us with apples for cooking (this year it was apple sauce and apple crisp).
