The Spring Fair

This past Friday we headed out to the spring Puyallup fair. We'd hoped for a nice mid-April spring day but instead Seattle handed us clouds, rain and 41 degrees. Instead of cancelling the trip we did what any other other long-time Seattle dwellers would do - we went anyway.

We were lucky enough to get a few sun breaks during the day but most of our time was spent running from barn to barn trying to escape the quite cold rain. In one barn one of the fair employees said we should be hoping for snow because if it snowed we'd get free tickets for the fall fair. We're not sure how many animals Evan actually saw because he spent most of his time running back and forth in the animal barns. He did stop to admire a turkey and "gobble" at it. Evan also got to pet a sheep.

The highlight of the day for Evan was when he went on a truck ride. He yelled "Whee!" as he passed Jill each time he went around.
