Sesame Place

The three of us headed out to Cape May to visit Grandma and Grandpa last week but found time to sneak away for a day and headed to Sesame Place. For those who don't know it's a Sesame Street theme park filled with some of Evan's favorite characters and tons of rides and activities. Evan met a bunch of his favorite people while we were there -- Elmo, Abby, Grover, and of course Ernie and Bert.

Evan was so excited to meet Elmo that we went to see him twice. The first time we waited in line for 15 minutes and when Evan was the next person in line Elmo went on break for 10 minutes. Evan was heartbroken. We waited for him to return as the rest of the line left to return another time. Evan's patience was rewarded when Elmo returned though. He could barely contain himself.

We went on a bunch of rides. Here Evan and I are on the "bouncy ride".

The big surprise was how much he loved "climbing Cookie Mountain".

There is also a water park and Evan loved splashing around (it made the fact that it was raining part of the time way more bearable).

Evan can't stop talking about our trip. He wants to go back again real soon.
