Here's Evan with both his Grandmothers.
The next morning we hung out at the pool with Grandpa, Grandma, B and others before turning in for a short nap and getting dressed for the big event.
At first Evan was excited to be in his tux. He especially liked the shiny shoes. After a few minutes however he refused to wear the jacket any more. This would prove problematic until right before my sister walked down the aisle. Before the ceremony were some pictures over at Stanford. Here's a picture of the entire wedding party.
While others got their chance for pictures Evan took off his coat (again) and struck a pose in the shrubs.
Jill was able to catch Evan in action -- he walked down very slowly -- with his jacket on. Just one minute before while others were walking Evan still refused to put it on. Ultimately I bribed him with an entire pack of Tic Tacs and he put on his jacket just seconds before his big moment.
Evan wasn't able to stick around for the entire ceremony (he started to get loud) so Jill took him out and Grandma stayed with him until it was over. Afterward, he hung out for a few snacks on the porch and then we took him back to our room to meet his babysitter for the evening so we could return and enjoy the dinner. All in all Evan did quite well over the wedding weekend. He absolutely loved being in the pool and the amazing "waterfall" shower our room had. Seeing all his grandparents was pretty cool too.
Oh, and congratulations Jack and Kara!
