Evan's New Boots

Evan has been obsessed with his friend Anna's boots for months now -- we hear about them almost every day. I was heading to REI with Evan and Jill said if we saw Anna's boots there to just get them for Evan (hoping if we owned them we could stop hearing about them). When we walked up to the kids shoes section Evan ran right to the boots (which were on sale!) and put it right on. When the REI shoe lady came over Evan asked her for the other boot. We finally got him to take off the display model, got his feet measured and put on boots that were the right size. From that point on it's been hard to get those boots off Evan. Here he is, in his favorite shirt (his pocket shirt) with his new boots.
