Happy Hippo

Evan's nickname has always been Clete short for Cletus, which we called him when Jill was pregnant- short for "Cletus the Fetus". Alexis didn't have a nickname until after she was born. We call Alexis the hippo. She is little and puffy like a cute baby hippo. We realize we will have to break the habit of calling her a hippo before she gets older and develops a complex about it but until then she is stuck with it. She has a theme song the three of us sing to her. "Hip hip hip, hippopotamus- Alexis is a hippopotamus". Whenever she hears the song she smiles.
