Jill's father is big into bike riding, especially at the shore so we thought we'd have Evan go riding with him. Evan has had issues in the past with wearing a helmet, but we figured since he wore it skiing this winter he'd be more likely to oblige. He has a tricycle at home but Jill and I think it's too small for him and has given him a bad taste of biking. We rented him a "big boy bike" with training wheels and he seemed excited. Here he is getting ready to ride.
Evan had a blast riding down the street and on the boardwalk with grandpa. Here he is pedaling along.
Evan was so happy with his ride he kept stopping along the way to ask us how fast he was going and how awesome it was that he was riding a bike. I think we're going to have to upgrade his rig at home now and get him ready for a longer ride next summer.
