Alexandria boat parade

I hadn't been to Alexandria yet and from what I'd heard and read it's beautiful.  It's getting a bit chilly out but that didn't stop us from attending the boat parade.  We got there a little early and walked down the beautiful light lined street.  We found a town square with a fountain and a big tree.  Perfect photo op.

It's hard to get good pictures at night (well at least it is for me).  Here's one I got of a few boats docked by where we watched.

We had to wait a while for the parade to start and we suffered a holiday meltdown (the second this season).  Evan protested that we'd been waiting for hours and wanted to go home.  He really started screaming.  Once they boat parade arrived he calmed down and I think even liked it.  Here's to hoping Evan can learn to control himself a bit more as time goes on.
