Alexis's birthday farm trip

Today is Alexis's actual birthday.  I took the day off work and we headed to what will likely be our final farm trip this fall.  Unfortunately it started raining right before we got there but that didn't stop us from having fun!  Her first present of the day?

Yep! It's finally time to turn her car seat around and ride facing forward.  All signs point to her liking this very much.  At the farm there were tons of animals - turkeys, ponies, pigs, chickens, cows, goats, bunnies (well one bunny) and even a peacock.  Here's Alexis feeding one of the goats.

It was actually a very nice farm.  I think this will be our preferred one next year.  It had exactly the right balance of attractions and animals.

Of course there was a hay ride as well.

They dropped us in a pumpkin patch where Evan chose one last pumpkin for the season.  Alexis patiently waited for Evan on a pumpkin.

After the ride we went and played around a bit more.  There was a giant spider web that seems to have caught an Alexis.

The rain started to come down a bit more so we called it a day and headed for home.  There was a lot more fun for Alexis later in the day.
